On Tuesday, 11 March, Minne will host a meeting of two pioneers in the sparkling wine world: Moussé Fils from Champagne and the Corpinnat house Gramona from Catalonia. Cédric Moussé, a 12th-generation winemaker, has made a name for himself as a producer of top-tier Meunier Champagnes in Cuisles, a village in the Marne Valley known for its unique green clay soil. His ultra-modern winery is perhaps the most eco-friendly in the Champagne region.
Leo Gramona represents the new generation at the iconic Gramona artisan house, whose long-aged terroir sparkling wines are considered among the elite in Spain. Dedicated to biodynamic practices, Gramona uses horses to manage some of its vineyards, while the estate farm is home to chickens, geese, donkeys, sheep, and cows – making much of the fertiliser self-produced.
In this fascinating joint tasting, Cédric and Leo will shed light on the unique characteristics of their terroirs and their sustainable methods. Together, we will savour eight distinctive terroir-driven sparkling wines. Welcome to experience the natural excellence of the new era of sparkling wines!
