Italy is currently the world’s most dynamic sparkling wine country, and Piedmont’s sparkling wines are among its rising stars.
Originally, the region was known for its sweet Asti wines, but today, there is so much more to discover. Alta Langa is Piedmont’s answer to Franciacorta and Trentodoc—a wine style that focuses on classic Champagne grape varieties and extended bottle aging.
The successful sparkling wine house Cuvage also produces fascinating specialities, such as Nebbiolo d’Alba, a sparkling wine made from Barolo’s Nebbiolo grape. Minne Champagne & Wine is delighted to welcome Cuvage’s CEO, Stefano Ricagno, who will guide us through the diverse world of Piedmontese sparkling wines.
